ViVA for Life
Due to the number of ViVA clients suffering from breast cancer, who have inspired us with their lives and have involved us with the most intimate details of their cancer journey, we wanted to do something special to commemorate our salon's anniversary while giving back to the breast cancer community. So, to celebrate our anniversary each year, we founded VIVA for Life, an Evening of Celebration in honor of those who have given us the privilege of helping them through the hair loss process brought on during cancer treatments.
This black tie gala, Team Cure Event, benefits the Western New York Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Each year hundreds of supporters join us for wonderful food, music, chinese and silent auctions, a midnight ballon drop to ring-in breast cancer awareness month, and more as we celebrate a breast cancer survivor with the “VIVA for Life, Living Life with Hope and Courage Award.” Thanks to the tireless support of our volunteers, our Celebration has been fortunate enough to raise over $300,000 for the Resource Center and that number continues to grow and grow.
