Presently mastering his craft in Orchard Park, Russell has had his work photographed and published in several international trade magazines.  Recently he and the staff provided on-location hair and makeup for all guests and cast of “Good Morning, America”. He has provided professional salon and spa services to local NFL players and families and local television personalities, as well as prominent politicians including former New York State Governor, Elliott Spitzer and family and former Vice President, Al Gore’s family and Press Corps.

Russ Hurlburt, owner of ViVA Salon is also on the board of the Alliance Foundation of Roswell Park Cancer Institute. and is the co-founder of ViVA for Life, an Evening of Celebration which has raised over $300,000 for the Western New York Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
